Cranberry & Pistachio Granola Bars
These are wonderful to bring on a bike ride - so simple to pack and transport.
Makes 8 bars
Ingredients:
170g oats
75g dried cranberries
50g pistachios, crushed
30g milled flaxseed
50g (orange) chocolate
1 orange, zest
1tsbp. vegetable oil
100g nut butter
70g honey
Methods:
1). Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a square baking tin.
2). Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and pour into the prepared tin. Spread evenly and press down to compact the ingredients.
3). Bake in the oven for approx 15mins or until the mixture has become golden brown. Cut into bars when still warm. Leave to cool and then consume.
