French Toast Fingers
French toast reminds me of my childhood and was definitely a breakfast that didn't last long in my home. French toast is called 'pain perdu' in French, which translates to 'lost bread'. The reason for this is because French people used to use stale bread in order to use up bread that would have otherwise gone to waste.
French toast can be a great breakfast choice the morning before a match as carbs are king in this instance.

3). Coat two slices of bread in this eggy-mixture and place in the pan. Cook on both sides and then add the filling of your choice (1 banana and speculaas spread was our winner) to one side of the cooked bread. Sandwich the other piece of eggy bread on top.
