Bounty Bites

All the flavour of a Bounty Bar, just not a bar. I find people's reaction to Bounty's are like Marmite - you either love them or hate them. You say the word and there is a serious divide in the room, well the haters loss right now. These are such an easy snack to make. Although this recipe only makes six balls, you can simply multiple to make more. These will keep in the fridge for about 5 days. I recommend having with a glass of milk (250 ml) to bump up to 20g protein for each serving.

Serves 3

Ingredients:

60g desiccated coconut

30g coconut protein powder

50g blended oats

60ml milk (could use coconut for more flavour)

60g chocolate, melted (used half dark & milk)

Note: If you do not have protein powder you can add in 30g more blended oats, honey to sweeten to your liking and 1-2tsp. of coconut oil - be aware that this will change the nutritional composition.

Method:

1). Add the coconut, protein powder, blended oats and milk to a mixing bowl. Using your hands mix until well combined.

2). Roll into balls and pop into the fridge until firm.

3). Then melt the chocolate, dip them into cover and refrigerate again until the chocolate has set.

4). Enjoy!
